giant Panda (Ailuropoda melanoleuca)
French artist Paulo Grangeon was asked to make 1,600 paper Pandas. These pandas were to be put in a Taiwan theater with an approximate capacity of 1,600 people. The reason for this act of art is because scientists predict that there are less than 1,600 pandas living in the wild today.

The Vaquita is the world's smallest porpoise and lives in the upper section of the sea of Cortez.
Mountain Gorilla (Gorilla beringei beringei)
These gorillas live at altitudes of 8,000-13,000 feet and have an estimated population of 880 in the wild.

This unique animal is both the smallest and the rarest type of antelope, it lives in Vietnam and members in this species range from 12- 200.
